I need to find my tripod and get practice using it, and some lights. Had my camera propped on books and long shutter speeds to get this shot in my dim lit apartment. The overexposed shot of this 3 photo HDR took forever it seemed.

Saw this sad pair of pigeons huddled under the eaves for shelter on my way home from work. Not really my style of music, but the Vandross quote was just too appropriate to pass up.

Yesterday in Denver, CO it was in the 60’s and I actually wore shorts for a while. Today, 4-5 inches of snow. Tomorrow they are saying the high temperature will only be 19 degrees with a low of -1 degree. BRRRRRR!

Stone House at Bear Creek Green Belt park during a brief winter storm at the end of New Years’ day. Kind of looks like the tree is growing out of the top of the house. The ultimate medusa-like “bad hair day”.

Holidays’ End

Went looking for some photos during a snow storm at then end of New Year’s Day today. Discovered a few lonely ornaments left hanging in a pine tree at a local park. They seemed abandoned. Even the geese seem uninterested.

Waiting for Summer’s Return

This park bench seemed abandoned and forlorn during a sunset snow storm on New Years’ Day. Not sure how an inanimate object can appear lonely, but it seemed almost desperate to have someone sit in it and warm it up a little.

Road to Winter

Took this on a quick end of New Year’s Day photo jaunt to the local park during a snow storm. Had almost entirely lost the light (and the feeling in my fingers,) when I took this last photo. Then ran to the car to warm up.

Black Canyon Photos

Today was my first day back from a vacation around Montrose, Colorado. I took TONS of photos while I was away. So many I will probably be processing them for the next year or so. Anyway, I have processed a few and uploaded them to my flickr account. I will be adding more as I get them.
