“Writing of Earth & Man” taken 6/22/2020
A slab of cut sandstone I have on display on a bookshelf. Some of the way the sand was laid down looks like wood grains, and in a way, just like the rings of a tree, they are the writing that tells a LONG story of sedimentary sand laid down and compressed over time. Like the words between the books behind it, but in a FAR shorter time frame, a history of words laid down and compressed over the time it took the author to gather, compose and transpose them to paper for those with the knowledge to understand.
